LIVE Trials and Age Verification

As of November 2024 the new process is that if a creator does not have at least 10 minutes of recent LIVE history they will need to do a LIVE trial – just a simple livestream of ten minutes (or longer) for the system to be able to automatically review and approve.

Age Verification

If the creator has the option to go LIVE (click here) they can just do so. If they do not, then they need to verify their age.

For creators who need to complete the LIVE trial, there are 3 ways to get started:

  1. The creator will have a notification in “system notifications” in the tiktok inbox informing them of their LIVE trial.
  2. The creator will have a reminder in the Creator Network Center. (this video shows how to get there)
  3. (optional) The creator may have a LIVE trial link in their DMs.

All 3 links go to the same place, a LIVE trial page informing the creator about the LIVE trial.

Options for age verification include:

  • Selfie with ID
  • Credit card authorization
  • Facial age estimation
  • Photos of ID

If the LIVE trial is competed before the invitation to complete a LIVE trial expires, the invite to join the agency will be in the “system notifications” in the tiktok inbox.
